What to do if a storm ruins your home.

After severe storms impacted our area with high winds and heavy rains, debris was carried into a storm drain outside this structure causing a storm water intrusion that did the damage you can see in these pictures.

The crew of SERVPRO of Haywood & Transylvania Counties arrived on scene to find water still standing in the home. We began removing the water and began setting up drying equipment. We often us drying equipment such as fans, air movers, dehumidifiers, and HEPA filtered air scrubbers to help the water evaporate more quickly to mitigate further issues such as mold.
